Rurouni Kenshin Movie in 8.25.12

With all the stuff that can be done online and all the hoax around I didn't want to believe it with my own eyes. But there is going to be a live action movie of Rurouni Kenshin this coming August! I want to be in Japan so bad...My friend Joy is there yet she told me she might go home that month. I hope she gets to watch it or download it whatever it is that she can do so that she would be able to tell me or let me find out just how awesome that movie really is. *shrieks* Kenshiiiiiiiin!

Like the fanpage!
Before I was a kpop and kdrama fan I was an otaku. And that is the kind of thing you never really let go of. And I am hoping I can get to watch this movie and have a copy of it to show to my my great-great-great grand nephews and nieces.

Samurai is <3.

I am 26 Now, mom

If I ever censored my opinions, I would choke. If I ever worry about what happens when people read what I write, I would go nuts. So I don't. I know you don't know this side of me, the opinionated cursing side that has unconventional opinions and is not afraid to express them. This is what a UP education gives. This is what a great pair of parents with principle gave me, a sense of what should be and the backbone to express my opinions.
Albeit I did not do it so well so I yield to your guidance now.

I love you but you are now officially blocked from seeing stuff on my wall and such. Because I don't want to be censored and to upset you any further.

^.^ Ah technology, aren't you just a frack.

Whether You Bora Or Not

Ten years of friendship. Of crazy, we got drunk almost every Thursday, cried and laughed about life and love, went down the rabbit hole only to end up in corporate clothes at the other end kinda friendship.

And true to form, the people who made me feel like I can overcome my fears and push the limits of my sanity bought tickets to Bora for me without me knowing about it. Though they did try to call me. ^.^

But hey, leave credits or none, I would just have to face the sanctions because if I don't I would miss out on a whole lot more.

This would only be more awesome if Carla was also coming. But old friends, their beloveds and the single ladies are going to rock Bora.

It's not the destination, it's the people that you travel with and the road that took to get there that matters.

Letter To Simone: BooBoo Day

Dear Simone,

You are doing a great job. Well, you are doing your best, aren't you? You had a hard day didn't you? But wasn't it fun? Wasn't it amazing? Wasn't realizing that there are more things in heaven and earth that you are not always good at? Wasn't knowing that you can make great new friends at work just threw you off the loop? You are making friends for life, I can see that. But try to make sure you filter work friends and friends friends. You don't really have time to make it up to your friend friends. You have to save for their homecoming, too. So hop to! Oh, remember to try to ask someone for Trina's schedule so you can give her a calzones from S&R, I am sure she would love it. ^.^

Moving forward, stop letting negastars tick you off. Just let them devour themselves and alienate people around it. Make sure that you do not have a hand in their downfall. Oh, btw, congratulations of realizing that Mr. Romantic is just who he is and that he didn't mean you any harm. Just make sure you ignore any other person who makes you want to bitch slap them. Because you promised Fried that you would behave at work, remember?

Try not to be such a brown-noser though I know you can't help but relate to people who have the task to teach you things. Try to remember where you saw you coach Mitwo before, she really looks familiar, I am always wondering where you met her.

Remember what you mom said, start paying up. You are so irresponsible when it comes to your money. Remember Ysac's advice of opening a new account. If you have to transfer some money to your BDO cashcard for now so you do not touch it. Just consider it like your piggy bank for now.

Make sure not to loose Leean (the cp) and that you should save up for the phone that you want. Decide if you really want a smartphone so you can go online more often.

Hang in there, remember the things you fracked up. Leave a message with no ref # in automated machines. Be more comfortable in saying My name is Ninya from Chenelyn Anti-Echlavoo Depertment. I am calling for Chruva Rarara. Hi, Mr. Rarara, I am calling regarding your Chenelyn Unite card ending in ichi-ni-san-roku. I would like to verify some information regarding your account and some transactions, is this a good time to talk to you about that?

^.^ You will get your anti-echlavoo sense to increase. Just make sure you do not copy people who do not double up things as to make sure that when you delete one you still have a back-up. Back-ups are important. But make sure to delete sensitive data in a timely manner. You do not want to get kicked out of Chenelyn Co, do you? No, you don't.

You finally realize that going out of your comfort zone is not as bad as you thought it was. Spread the love, mind your manners and stop being bossy just be open to new things. Remember that there is someone who is always better than you. But that doesn't make you any less of who you are to admit it. Actually it makes you a better person.

And if this year turns out well, I will give you a pass to flirt again. For now, tend to your wounds, thanks PrincessP for telling you about that cream thingy that helped your yucks go away. And do your best to get as much exercise as you can. Spend time with your family and make sure to talk to your sister more so she knows that you are there for her if she needs you.

There are more to life than money, but at least now, you can pay your rent and make a dent on that debt that you accumulated. You made the right choice, you should have done it sooner than now. But then again, you would have never have met the people that you are meeting now.

BTW, searching for a guy for your friend at where you work might be harder than you anticipated since her ex is there. Try to contact her old friend who works there too, perhaps that person can entice her to move to that place. And wouldn't that just be great?

I'll send you another letter soon. Try to get an internet connection. Make that yobo4 Norby is asking you to make. And for the love of God, comb your hair more often.

Justice for Rochel “Cesil” Geronda

What kind of animal would do this?
That was the first thing that ran in my mind.
Then I thought, what was that slimy mayor doing about these?
Two young women's lives, TWO GREAT MOTIVATING GOOD GIRLS were killed, robbed of life and dignity. What the hell is happening with the crime rate over there?

Still, it's heart-breaking. She was probably one of the many sampaguita kids I gave a pack of cookies to. (I don't give money or buy anything.) I hope justice is served with this case as well.

“With the grim images of the recent rape and murder of a UPLB student still fresh in our minds, another disturbing incident happened to a younger student of Los Baños. In the morning of February 29, 2012, Rochel “Cesil” Geronda, a 14-year-old second year high school student of Los Baños National High School was found dead along a bushy pathway near their home in Sitio Riverside, Barangay Batong Malake. Her body was found by her brother-in-law without her underwear on and her jogging pants tied around her neck. Her parents believe that she was hit by a hard object on the head.

Aside from being a good daughter who was helping her parents with finances from selling sampaguita garlands every night around Grove St, Cesil also served as a motivator to her friends by encouraging them to do well in school despite their socio-economic situation. With this unwavering dedication in her studies, she was a consistent scholar of the “Off the Street, On to School” program of the UPLB Gabay Volunteer Corps and Kairos Band. Her mother remembered her saying that she wanted to send herself to college and eventually uplift their family’s economic condition. She believed that by being determined, somebody will help her to pursue her dreams.

Cesil may not be able to fulfill her dreams now, but we can still help her by bringing justice to her. Two dreams have already been shattered, a third helpless, innocent soul will be too much. Catching and convicting the culprit is never enough, it is the very social condition that creates such a culture of selfish and merciless actions that has to be addressed. As UP students, it is our inherent responsibility to be in the forefront of the call for social action.

It is high time that we act now. Everybody is encouraged to wear white and join the Indignation Rally on Tuesday, March 06, 2012, 4pm, at Carabao Park, UPLB. We condemn the crime done to Cesil. We call on the authorities to hasten with the investigation. We call on the government officials to develop efficient security programs and improve the existing ones.”
