There is never enough time - poem

To love you
To tell you that I love you
To forget you
To forget you so that I can love again

To hold you
To hold you in my heart
Before the next fleeting emotion
Before the next dawn of reason

To grief for us
To grief for us who can never be
To share not in the love that we found
But in the togetherness of being apart

To find another
To find another who is free to love me
Who I am free to love
There is never enough time
